Coming from a family of doctors, the one thing Dr Juliet Williams did not want to do when she was growing up was to become a doctor. Whilst at school she studied at the Junior Section of the Royal Northern College of Music and went on to graduate from Oxford University with an MA honours degree in Music.
She subsequently completed the Foundation Course in Natural Sciences at King’s College London, then graduated with distinction from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’s School of Medicine. Her training in Dermatology was at King’s College Hospital and she has also worked at Frimley Park Hospital and St George’s Hospital.
Dr Williams is a Consultant Dermatologist at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. Her clinical sessions are split 50:50 between adult and paediatric dermatology with clinics and minor operations lists for both adults and children. She regularly sees and treats patients with skin cancer and is a core member of the skin cancer Multi-Disciplinary Team.
She is the departmental lead for Research and Development at Epsom and St Helier Hospital and conducts fortnightly research clinics. She is currently Principal and Co-Investigator for several clinical trials including SAFA(Spironolactone for adult Female Acne), BSTOP (Bio-markers for and BADBIR (British Association of Dermatologists Biolgics Intervention Register).

Dr Williams has four children and spends most of her time at weekends getting them to rugby, football, hockey, cricket, athletics, etc. She enjoys running; she has run the London and New York marathons and hopes to run the Berlin marathon next.
